Realme Smartphone User Base Reaches 15 Million in 2022
Realme Smartphone User Base Reaches 15 Million in 2022. Realme Indonesia has set its sights on increasing smartphone sales in 2023, with a focus on its number series (Realme 8 series, Realme 9 series, and Realme 10 series), followed by its C series and GT series. The company hopes to reach 25 million users in Indonesia in 2023, building on its current base of 15 million users in 2022.
"We can say that the number series will be our priority because we want to provide a premium and flagship experience to our users through our number series," said Krisva Angnieszca, Public Relations Manager for Realme Indonesia.
To support this goal, Realme is implementing its Spire Strategy in 2023, which focuses on increasing innovation and technology in its devices, including improvements in design, performance, and user experience. The company hopes that this strategy will help it maintain stable sales and even see an increase despite global economic recession.
To kick off its 2023 sales priorities, Realme plans to release and market the 10 Pro series in Indonesia as the first of its number series. The company also plans to release Narzo series smartphones and Internet of Things (IoT) devices such as True Wireless Stereo (TWS), tablets, laptops, and smartwatches to support its technology ecosystem.
According to Krisva, the company expects to reach 20-25 million smartphone users in 2023. Specifically, the number series has already reached 5 million users. Reports from Canalyst and IDC have placed Realme among the top five players in the Indonesian smartphone market.
